This is the web site for my online novel series set in and around the fictitious (but plausible!) UK based 'Department of National Security, Police & Civil Defence' more commonly referred to in the series as the 'Security Department' or 'Security Service'
On the site, you can read about the novels, the background, inspiration, character profiles, trivia and even deleted scenes. Of course from this site you can also download the sixteen novels themselves in all the usual formats absolutely free of charge.

So what's all this about then?
Some seventeen or more years ago I wrote a short four page story for a school project. Over the years that story was developed into my first novel 'Hainault' which as you will see is now somewhat longer than four pages and has spawned fifteen sequels with another two in various stages of writing or development plus a potential spin off series in the offering as well.
Ironically there is nothing much left of that original four page story left in it anymore but we all have to start somewhere!
On this site you can read the novels either on-line or by downloading them in any one of a variety of formats. Also available here are character profiles, trivia and a look at some of the locations that are used in the stories together with a little background information about myself and what inspires me.
